Directions to the Joint Centre

The Joint Centre is located on the campus of École polytechnique in Palaiseau, inside the "Alan Turing" building.

  • How to go to École polytechnique from Paris :

Take RER B South, go out at station "Massy-Palaiseau". Then look for bus 91-06B, 91-06C or 91-10 - it is a 12' ride, and the frequency is approximately one every 10'. Get out at "École polytechnique, Laboratoire". You may get the bus schedule here. Paris Metro tickets works in the bus. Summer schedule (starting on 22-06-2012) is also here.

  • If you like hiking :

you can also stop at "Lozère, École polytechnique" (3 stops after "Massy-Palaiseau") and climb up to the campus - it is a 15' steep hike in woods.

  • If you drive :

take the N118 at Paris Pont de Sèvres. After 12km, take exit 9 "Centre Universitaire", then D128 to "École polytechnique". Another route is by autoroute A10 in direction of Chartres, then A126 in direction of "Cité Scientifique, Saclay". More directions (in French) are given here. The "Alan Turing" building is next to buildings Thalès, Danone and Institut d'Optique (see map). It is less than 100-meter far from 91-06 bus stop "École Polytechnique, Laboratoire". The "Alan Turing" building also comprises Inria--Saclay-Île-de-France and LIX.
